I am a HUGE fan of sensory play and this is one of my favorites! It's perfect for Lola because it keeps her attention and is also edible. We are still in the phase of her putting everything in her mouth... 😅
I also love this activity because I had most of the things needed at home and everything else I found at the dollar store.
Supplies Needed:
- Blue Jello
- Cheerios
- Sea Creatures
- Blender
- Container
Directions:
- Make Jello as per instructions on box.
- Add in sea creatures
- Refrigerate on slight angle for four hours
- Blend cheerios to create edible sand
- Pour sand into container
- Have fun!!
Lola had so much fun! It can get a little messy so I would suggest having your baby do it in a diaper or placing in on top of a plastic tablecloth. I loved watching her explore with touch, taste and smell. Taste was by far her favorite.
